A contemporary take on vintage travel postcards of cities, this short but punchy animated gif aims to reflect the diversity, energy and ever-evolving nature of Canada's largest city. Each letter is animated with illustrations that highlight something that makes Toronto unique.

Inspiration & Style
To evoke the liveliness and diversity of Toronto, the animation contrasts vibrant illustrations with black and white photography, and variable weight typography. Animated scribble-like linework reflects the constantly changing nature of the city. The colour palette is drawn from images of iconic landscapes and architecture from the city, such as red brick row houses and the waters of Lake Ontario.
