a playful & bold event identity for an evening of fun and games with Toronto Blue Jays players.
Brief
Develop the look + feel for Jays Care's George Springer Bowling Benefit. The event, hosted by Sportsnet broadcaster Hazel Mae, was a fun, interactive night of bowling, games and interactions with Toronto Blue Jays players. All funds raised went to Jays Care and SAY: The Stuttering Association for the Young. The ask was for a unique look for this event, with some ties to elements of Jays Care's recent marketing campaign.
Solution
The event identity is playful and bold, drawing on fun bowling design elements like stripes and  circles. Imagery of Jays Care and SAY kids are incorporated into signage, driving home the impact of the event on the kids from these fantastic organizations. Unity with Jays Care's marketing campaign is achieved through carrying over its skewed typographic style and incorporation of imagery of kids from their programs.
